Flushable Wipes Lawsuit Seeks Class Action Status

Flushable wipes were sold with the idea that they could be flushed without problems. However, some consumers, particularly Dr. Joseph Kurtz, filed a lawsuit claiming that the wipes caused serious plumbing issues in his home. Cottonelle and Costco-brand are the makers of flushable wipes. The main issue in the lawsuit is that the companies misled the consumers. Thus the idea that the wipes were flushable was false and therefore misleading.  According to Kurtz, many consumers all over the country suffered from the following issues:
